Located on a prominent four acre site, the new building will function as a gateway for both ASU and the W. P. Carey School to downtown Tempe. Comprising approximately 385,000 GSF, the new building will house instructional spaces, faculty and administrative offices, research centers, student and career services, computer labs and social spaces.With the new building, the W. P. Carey School of Business will take a leadership position regarding environmental sustainabil- ity, reflecting the aspirations of ASU, with a goal of achieving LEED Gold status or higher. Basic building orientation and massing is designed to reduce solar exposure in the hot arid Arizona climate.
